Do you have dance or drama training with a passion for working with kids? Check out these job opportunities at our afterschool program and summer camp:
Afterschool: Instructors pick up children from neighborhood schools and bring them to our studio in walking groups or by bus. There, the kids take part in an afternoon full of dance technique, drama, and fitness classes, as well as supervised homework time and other fun activities.
Our afterschool program runs Monday-Friday from 3-6pm. For the 23-24 school year, we’re especially interested in applicants with availability on Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday afternoons.
Summer Camp: Every week-long session includes dance and drama classes, outdoor activities, games and art projects. On Wednesdays, we take a walking trip to a nearby spray ground. On Fridays, the kids will show off what they’ve learned throughout the week at an informal 30-minute presentation.
Summer camp runs Monday-Friday 8:45am-6pm, with flexible hours available.
We’re always looking for instructors who are responsible, but fun, with the drive to inspire kids to learn and grow in the arts. College students are encouraged to apply, please email Emily (emily@phillydancefitness) with your resume and cover letter.
Same as above, except you’ll be assisting instead of teaching.

Get tons of real-world, hands-on experience with a part-time internship at our award-winning, independently owned dance fitness studio. Our interns work closely with our admin team, getting a front-row view of what goes into running a small business while also making important contributions to our daily operations. If you’ve got a strong creative eye and enjoy putting plans into action, this internship may be the perfect opportunity for you!
Interns typically commit to a minimum of six months with us, though some continue for more than a year. Apply prior to the start of summer, fall or winter terms by emailing your resume and cover letter to emily@phillydancefitness.com.
